Summary: A decent book for a low price
Comment: This introductory book on holistic massage contains chapters on head, foot, and body massage. Each chapter further divides into sections outlining basic massage strokes with reccommended oils, and a basic routine with a partner or for yourself. It contains useful information for those interested in learning massage, and is well-illustrated as a further guide to technique. Aside from the useful illustrations, however, the use of photographs in other sections is just excessive and fails to make up for a lack of well-organized information. Also, be prepared to read through an amount of spiritualized material with plenty of warm fuzzy feelings but a deficit in thorough explanation and concrete evidence. All in all, this book is probably worth buying (for the beginner only) at around $5, but there are better guides out there.
