Customer Rating: Summary: I know I'll never smoke again Comment: I quit one month ago today after reading Allen Carr's book. It took about 2 hours to read, and I really had no intention of not smoking when I was done. But when I closed the book I thought to myself, "what are you going to do?" and I have not wanted a cigarette, so I have not smoked a cigarette. It's the strangest feeling to not WANT a cigarette. And that's what has made this TIME I quit different than all the others over my 22 year love/hate relationship with cigarettes. This has not been a white knuckle ride, it's been ridiculously easy. I ordered this book through Amazon. ca and read it a soon as I received it. I had tried several ways to quit over the years with no success. Finally a method that approaches the problem from a smokers perspective. If you're looking for a lecture on lung cancer, heart disease etc., then I'm sorry to say this book isn't for you. However, if you are looking for a way to stop smoking that is; Easy, Immediate, Permanent, No Withdrawal, No Willpower, No Weight Gain, No tricks or gimmicks...then purchase the book and read it! Customer Rating: Summary: It just plain works Comment: Like so many out there I had my doubts when it came to this book, but I figured I would give it a shot, can't hurt (I really had nothing to loose). I started reading it and you read while you smoke it, but the end, your last smoke tastes so gross you don't even finish it and you are cured. I read this book in one night and was a non-smoker when I woke up the next day. You can do the same (though you can read it over a longer period of time). No gimmicks, no scare tactics, just plain results. Health Canada really should endorse this book rather then endorsing those gums and patches that contain the drug you are trying to quit!
If you are a smoker and what to quit (who doesn't) READ THIS BOOK and you will become a non-smoker when you finish the book like so many before you did. This book is $15 less then the cost of two packs of smokes. Just buy it and you will quit.

I really can't believe that I struggled with patches, gum etc for so many years when this simple, effective cure was available the whole time. Health Canada should distribute this title free of charge to every smoker in Canada. Every smoker I know who has read this book is now a happy non-smoker. It really is that powerful and that easy.
