Summary: Absolutely Ridiculous
Comment: Despite the title, the ball actually gets in the way of a good strech! I had to put the ball aside for some of the moves. Moreover, I almost fell asleep during this workout. It's not challenging nor interesting. DON"T BUY IT! And please, if there is a good balance ball workout out there, let me know. This is not one of them.

Summary: VERY beginner!
Comment: I read the reviews here on amazon and still purchased this video anyway. I was thinking, "well hey I am a beginner (and might I add out of shape) so this should be great for me for awhile". I was wrong. I was expecting the bunny slope of skiing and instead got the little hill in the front yard of your house. My heart rate did not notably elevate, nor could I feel any of the toning in my body (normally I get sore). The stretches are great, though. This video is very relaxing. I think it would be good to use on a day you are sore from doing something else the previous day.

Summary: A good way to relax
Comment: If you want a real workout, this isn't the video for it. I doubt anyone would have any results as far as improved muscle tone solely from doing this video. That said, however, the the stretches are quite relaxing. The music, set and even Deason's voice are all very calming as well.
Make sure you have the exact size of excercise ball specified on the back cover. Mine is slightly smaller and I think it made some of the stretches a little less fluid.
I doubt I'll get much use out of this video, but it might be nice every now and then as a stress reliever.

Summary: Great for Beginners
Comment: This video is clearly labeled a beginner's workout-- and that's what it delivers. It is a great intoduction to using the stability ball in general. The focus of this video is 60% stretching and 40% toning. I have used this video as a beginner ball video. It is also appropriate for a light workout day. The scenery, music, and pace are all very relaxing.

Summary: Not a true "workout" but good tips for stretching routine
Comment: I bought the "Deluxe" DVD version of this video at Target. I concur with the sentiment of the other reviewer: the moves illustrated in the body of the video are practiced way too rapidly to be of benefit as-is. And because some of the positions have you reclined on the balance ball, it is difficult to see the correct posture without craning your neck. More importantly, you have to tune out the narrator's instructions concerning breathing; due to the rapid pace of the moves, you'd end up hyperventilating if you followed her voice to the letter. This video might constitute a workout for those out of shape but for those in reasonably fit condition, it won't qualify as more than helpful tips for new ways to stretch. But as a morning stretch routine, and if the moves are practiced a little slower than is on the video, it's an invigorating way to start your day.
