Customer Rating: Summary: Disgusting, and man, what a letdown Comment: Normally, I love Philosophy. I use the Purity cleanser every day. I have several of the 3-in-1s, and I use those to wash my hair, as they give me really great body. And I love their scents.
But this . . . this reeks. I don't understand why they can have such lovely smelling products and then this, which is one of their flagship items. Even the foot lotion smells good. Hope in a Jar smells so bad I can't even use it.
Some people were able to stick it out for a few days and wound up with a rash. I can't even wear it once, which might have saved me from some nasty discomfort in the end. So, good, I guess? Ugh.
Other than that tenuous positive, I just cannot find a single saving "grace" (ha) for this product. The product is a little expensive but a little goes along way, the product sinks into your skin like water, it makes your skin feel and look sooooooo soft! I have tried TONS AND TONS of products and I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who has ANY TYPE of SKIN.. I believe this would help anyone who has good or bad skin! ITS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! The texture is great - sinks in very quickly, and a little goes a long way. As for the smell - I am known to have a really strong sense of smell (there are not many perfumes I can wear as they make me feel ill and headachy)there is nothing offensive about the smell of this cream at all, it's very slight and disapears as soon as you've applied it.
I would highly recommend trying this for yourselves, don't be put off by these awful reviews. Hope in a Jar is wonderful!
