You can create a natural looking eye or a dramatic eye. You can use them wet or dry. You can use the "foiling" technique with some of the shimmery shadows. For those that don't know what "foiling" is: foiling is a technique using a smidgen of water and mixing it to a shimmery eye shadow then applying it to the eye lid. Once dry it gives the illusion of the shimmer of foil. Foiling looks great on tanned or darker skin tones. A lot of the younger gals are foiling and this eye shadow gives the best results for that. The shadows can be used to line the eye, especially the darker shades. This is the only shadow that I have become addicted to because of so many color choices and the different ways to blend them. All of the colors go beautifully with each other. So there is no need to buy those 3 shadow palattes that are so popular in the stores. There is no waste with bare Escentuals eyeshadows. The ways to use these eye shadows are unlimited. You get a lot for your money in that little tub of shadow.
