Spotlight customer reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: Provide Comfort Comment: I just took up biking again recently after some time off. I was surprised of the pain I experienced in my hands on 10-15 mile rides.
These gloves have helped eliminate the pain completely. No complaints at all with fit, comfort or anything else. I am giving a 4 rather than 5 star review because I've read that these gloves may wear out quickly. I've had them about a month now and they're not showing any significant wear yet, but also don't seem to be indestructible. Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect if you are a stick insect Comment: This is my 3rd pair of gel biking gloves. What I've learned from these 3 purchases, is that gel must be expensive. If I were designing gel biking gloves I would smother the palms with gel. Cover everything. Layer it on. Make it thick.
These gloves a probably a little better covered with gel than the ones you have that are making you look for a better set. But they *feel* like they are designed by stick insect bicycle riders who have $4,000 bikes with wide handlebars and that are adjusted perfectly. The are only a little better padded than my last set of gloves.
If, like me, you have a 15 year old $500 bike that isn't adjusted well and you **ahem** have more weight on your hands than perhaps you'd like, then these will help, but they will not eradicate the problem.
Glad to have these gloves ... for now. But would buy something with more gel. Stick insect bicycle product desigers. If you read this, try putting on a weight vest with say 50 pounds of extra weight in it. Then, test your designs. This exercise will cause your insight to gel.

Customer Rating: Summary: Works as Advertised Comment: I had significantly more comfort on some medium (10 - 15 miles) and long (30+ mile) rides using these gloves. Customer Rating: Summary: Nice Gloves Comment: I had some pearl gel-lites and my hands went numb all the time, but not as much with these gloves. They are a little stiff, but that is all I can find fault with Customer Rating: Summary: I like them. Comment: These gloves are expensive, but they appear to be worth it. I live in Croatia, so had to get them here in a roundabout way and buy them sight unseen. I have not used them for very long, but they do keep my hands from becoming numb while riding, which was a frequent problem in the past with my old gloves. If these gloves last quite a while, and it appears that they will, then they are definitely worth the price and I recommend that anyone give them a try.
