The question isn't what 'kind' of beef (that comes later) but if there's any beef in this version of bovril. I'd seen the new label which features a 'beef' stamped over 'bovril' so I'm now skeptical that this is the latest verion of Bovril with any beef in it. is this the vegetarian version?
Does anyone know if the beef version is allowed in the US? Customer Rating: Summary: Use it for soup! Comment: Since I was a kid, we used Bovril to flavor soup. So when I bought it after a long search, I sure used it the same way. I never tried Bovril according to the manufacturer's directions, maybe I will some day.
