Summary: Stool withholding
Comment: This book is like having a consultation with the Dr and is very helpful and informative. It gives practical information when dealing with stool withholding. It enables parents to realise that they are dealing with a very common problem among children which can sometimes feel as if they are the only family with the problem. It helps to bring it all out in the open and gives practical ways of solving the problem which are very do-able. As a health professional who deals with this problem on a daily basis, this is the book that is used for reference by our team.

Comment: As any other parent who has been in our position knows, when your child won't 'go', it really takes over your life!! This book, with its suggestions and story of Mr. Poo has really changed our lives. The way it is written is really user friendly! This is the only book you need if your child has poo problems! Thank you!

Summary: very useful
Comment: this is a great all round book for children with "poo" problems. it is written from the childs point of view which is really insightful and covers everything from diet to medication should it be required. the book looks at recognising whether a child has (or hasn't) had an accident and when a child isn't soiling at all but maybe not cleaning up properly after the event. the book is mainly about poo but does also cover wee briefly, and is full of useful information, including a short chapter aimed at children with special needs, although this is not the main focus of the book, all around a really easy to read and informative book.
