Summary: Hilarious!
Comment: This book is absolutely brilliant - funny and warm and original and packed with jokes. Anyone who's a parent or a grandparent will find themselves laughing with recognition all the way through. But you don't need to be a parent to love this book - you just need to have a sense of humour.

Comment: When my mum looked after our children I bought this book for her as a thank you. I read some of it to myself I decided that it was so badly written I would rather give her nothing than give her something so appalling. This book is not the least bit witty, funny or entertaining and I cannot see how it got published.... unless of course Joan Pritchett has contacts in the literary world ... oh yes checking the blurb I see that she does. Don't buy this book - it is dreadful - I bought my mum some chocolates instead.
