Summary: Simple but great
Comment: I have to agree with some of other reviewers...the stepping movements are very basic for people who are used to stepping. But this does not mean that this is not a good workout video. I actually find that because of its simplicity it's great. And although I am a very experienced exerciser I always break into a sweat doing this one and feel like I am getting a good solid workout.Unfortunately there is no abs workout on this one, only upper and lower body workouts.

Summary: weightwatchers step and sculpt
Comment: I enjoy this video and its suitable for beginners as well as experienced steppers.Maybe not too good for those who want a vigorous workout but good value for money and you do work up a sweat but dont feel you are killing yourself in the process.

Summary: Interesting and effective workout
Comment: This Weightwatchers workout-series is really good - I was so pleased with the Low Impact Aerobics that I came right back and ordered the other two videos in the series. Unlike a couple of my fellow reviewers I do find that this Step & Sculpt workout makes me break a good sweat - even though I do it without a step. There are some fairly tricky steps (at least for me) but that's fine - keeps the workout interesting for much longer. And you're still working while you're getting the footwork wrong! As with all the Weightwatchers workouts it's really easy to take the level down or up a bit if you need to, a Perceived Exertion Chart is shown several times and tips given to help you increase or decrease the intensity. I use weights regularly and use the heaviest dumbbells I have (6.6lbs) for this workout, but using small weights or no weights would give a beginner a good start to upper body toning. The instructor (Aileen Sheron) is really good - clear, calm instructions, pleasant manner; pleasant music (not overly loud as in some workout videos) and a small group of 'real women' - only two to be exact, plus the instructor - make this a very nice video to work out with. Since I bought this whole series I've been exercising every day (as apposed to three times weekly before)and I'm seeing results after three weeks - definitely worth it!

Summary: Step with normal people!
Comment: Quite good although the stepping itself is very slow - experienced steppers wouldn't appreciate the slow pace although it is a reasonably hard workout. Liked the idea of using weights for upper body strength and toning. Nice to see normal people with an instructor!

Summary: Enjoyable and 'in between' for advanced steppers.
Comment: This is a varied step vid that includes upper body work with weights which so many others ignore. The instructor provides good advice and is clear with the movements without being annoying or patronising. It is not suitable for advanced steppers and does not generate a full sweat. That said, it is good for those in between days where you want to do some exercise to keep body and soul together. Music could be a bit more imaginative. The weights & sculpt sections are an excellent idea and you can vary the intensity by the level of weights you want to use.
