Comment: I bought this last year, and just decided to review it after I came across it again whilst searching for more fitness videos.
It really is the best fitness I've ever tried. It's tough at first, but it feels great as you get better. Afterwards, you feel like you've had a really good workout.
I'd recommend this to anyone. It's not for the absolute beginner, so if you're just getting into exercise then I'd recommend something a little easier first. But it isn't aimed at the super-fit - if you look at the people in the video, they come in all different shapes, sizes and ages! Anyone can do it, and it's a great way to get fit, if you keep practising.

A word of advice: Don't move on to Tae-bo Advanced until you're a pro at this one. It might seem like you've mastered the beginners videos at the time, but when you get the advanced workout, you'll realise that you haven't!
I'd say work through all the beginners videos for variety, but only move up a level when you're finding them easy.

Comment: This workout is great, i was really unfit before using this video and at first it was a struggle but in a matter of about 3 weeks I could do it no problem. You know your working your body when doing it and you notice results within days, plus you feel so much better about yourself! The only thing I would say which isn't so good is that it works more the upper part of your body and not so much anything else especially the legs. Also I wish he meant it when he says it's the last set! I've bought the abs and glutes video to work more other parts of my body.
This video is great for beginners and tae bo is simply the best!

Comment: Not a bad video! I like it as it has a half hour training session and an instructional video. Half and hour is all I need or I tend to get bored and start thinking about stopping and eating my dinner.

Good work out, doesn't get me ready to fall over, but it does work up a sweat. There are a couple of difficult moves on there (double punches, I think they are called). If you put some effort in, it's easy to feel like Lennox Lewis (.... if he did Tae Bo, that is). Watch out for the woman with the knitted hair (in green on the right hand side). She really needs to see a hairdresser!!! And also the chinese woman who puts in no effort at all. She looks bored!!! But you won't be!!!

Comment: This is the best Tae Bo tape to begin with. Make sure you first watch the instructional second half where Billy explains the kicks and punches, etc.
Then rewind to the start and get ready to sweat! The Tae Bo system is the most fun aerobic exercise programme around and it does work. Once you master this tape, move on to Advanced or Tae Bo 5 - Active. (I recommend the Active tape because it contains both a basic and advanced workout.)

Comment: I just love doing this workout,,its had me hooked from day one,,I look forward to doing it every day and am seeing results after four weeks,,never had much muscle definition before but its getting there!! Have recommended this to all my friends and a few of them are also hooked!!

"Ah, we're rockin' now, baby!" World Martial Arts champion and occasional action movie star Billy Blanks has become (almost) a household name with his own brand of fitness video, Tae-Bo. It's a simple yet inspired idea: take martial arts and boxing moves (punching, kicking) and turn them into an aerobic dance-style workout that viewers can do in their own living room (providing you move furniture and any fragile ornaments out of range first). No equipment, no dieting, no frills required: just enough space for some shadow-boxing and kicking. The testimony of Tae-Bo converts confirm that it's a high-energy, calorie-burning routine guaranteed to work those muscles and sweat away the flab.

On this video our genial, energetic host leads an intensive 30-minute live workout in which you, the viewer, will definitely need all the encouragement he so generously hands out to stay the course--at least for the first time. He launches very quickly into the full workout, so it's a good idea to warm yourself up before starting the tape.
