Summary: A Mixed Bag
Comment: I haven't bought this DVD, but had read the reviews here. But I saw it in the local library and took it out for a week, for a bit of background viewing.
The bulk of the instruction is by a couple of typical club professional types. There is an absence of great personality or authority, from these guys - as you get with say John Jacobs or Leadbetter. But it is fairly sound stuff delivered in a slightly laboured style. But finding a golf coach who gels with you, is a very personal thing - and these guys may hit the mark with some people.
However, I found the Justin centric sections (playing holes with Justin, his own tips and interview) very interesting. In fact a bit better, albeit shorter, than the Simon Holmes playing with Karlsson DVD. Justin came across well, and a genuine guy.
So if you can borrow it, or buy at a good price, and perhaps sell on, it's worth a punt. If you are a big Justin Rose fan, I guess you have it already! Just set the expectation that the majority of the DVD is not with Justin.

Comment: Many of the comments provided through these reviews focus on the absence of Justin from the base material. I fully agree with that but am not surprised by it - it is the way things are. That said for what are now relatively cheap prices at Amazon or on Marketplace this is worth a punt - won't lose much on Ebay if you later hate it anyway! Having bought some John Jacobs stuff in parallel you should be grateful this is a tad more modern in presentation and image quality. Underlying guidance is worthy and good for beginniers who should, as previously offered up in these reviews, in any evebt go and get some lessons from the outset. As this DVD stands it is cheaper than a couple of buckets of balls at the range and probably better value. To get the best you need to properly practice what is preached - not always easy. Remember though that initial setup and short game skills are as important as creaming 250+ yards occasionally with a driver (the most difficult club in the bag yet the one far too many of us take to the range and bring out first and woinder why we can't use it). Been there, done that!!

Summary: Brilliant Golf video
Comment: Excellent DVD....I bought it 6 months back and have used it to brush up on many areas of my game. My handicap has dropped 5 shots in this time from 24 to 19 and I have to give much of the credit to this DVD.
It will benfit any golfer who's prepared to spend a little time on their DVD instead of aimlessly banging balls at the range.

Comment: Guys save your money, if Justin Rose wasn't on the cover then this DVD would be a drinks coaster. For the mid to low handicap golfer this DVD provides absolutely no benefit. Compared to the old Leadbetter tapes, the Leadbetter tapes win's hands down.

Comment: I'm trying to figure out if the previous reviewer has even watched the DVD. Put plainly I normally shoot 92-94 on a par 74 course, after studying this interactive DVD I have dropped on average 8 strokes off my play. This is no joke. Its not that the PGA Pro's offer any world shattering secrets, its all just good wholesome common sense advice that works. Believe me I've read and watched many golf instruction techniques and this rates at the very top (alongside David Leadbetter) and at this price it's a steal.
