Summary: Horrible chapter system
Comment: While in some ways I agree with the negative views presented by others on this DVD, one has to admit that there is some good cricket on here, and some truly memorable moments. Gibbs' 6x6, Malingas four wickets in four balls and the catch of Leverock for example. Since it is so cheap the DVD is almost worth it for these highlights alone, but the really annoying bit is how the disk is divided into chapters. There is one chapter for each of the groups in the group stage, one chapter for the super eights, one for the semis, and one for the final. That's right, ONE chapter for the entire super eights, that is 24 games. So if you are looking for a highlight in the 22nd game, you have to fast-forward past 21 games first! Why on earth would they not make each match a separate chapter?

Summary: Really don't bother
Comment: The tournament was dire and this glossy rewriting of what happened fails to disguise that. The sad death of Bob Woolmer, which overshadowed the tournament, is barely mentioned and the farce of the final did not happen according to this sanitised version. Any Stalinist would be proud to have produced this slanted view of history, although they would have struggled to come up with something so boring.

Comment: Setting aside the problems with the DVD Quality, with the picture constantly freezeing and not being read by DVD players, we have another poorly edited, mass produced, money grabbing, "highlights package" with very little about the real tragegy of the world cup with Bob Woolmers Passing and nothing about the organisational problems culminating in the farcical finish to the tourament. Obviously the ICC have paid someone with no cricket knowledge to produce a shiny version of a poor tourament, and i am an Aussie too!
